As we kick off 2022, we’ll offer monthly practice tips to help you to strengthen and grow your practice. Our first tip of the year is the foundational component of all successful businesses, and that’s a caring culture.
Cultures are built through intention or by chance. When a culture is built by chance everything connected to that culture also occurs by chance.
The foundational component of a successful culture starts with caring for yourself and others and most certainly includes your employees. Mark Crowley, Leadership Author, notes that “heart drives performance and drives engagement so it’s imperative that leaders connect with their employees to support their personal growth.”
Developing a culture that appreciates employees and patients requires intentional actions. The decisions and actions that it takes to achieve success requires being intentional every day with your words and actions and this starts by caring about your staff. Caring has a ripple effect and when you care about your staff they will care about your patients.
Caring for your staff is the foundation of building a practice culture that supports employee and practice growth. Our C.A.R.E. treatment plan provides you with a strategy to drive employee engagement and practice growth. CARE reminds leaders that Communication, Accountability, Respect and Empowerment must work in synergy to build a caring and growth focused practice culture.
If you are ready to build a healthier practice in 2022, be intentional in how you connect with your staff and patients. Listen with intention and empower your employees to grow personally and professionally.
A new year can mean a new and stronger practice, but only if you are committed and intentional with your actions to build a caring culture. If you would like to build a culture through intention and improve your results for 2022 and beyond, contact me at smays@impactpracticeconsultants.com.
